Nexgen Headlines (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates https://nexgenheadlines.com, including its articles, guides and Web Stories. The site is run by Saroj Mali, based in India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We automatically collect standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent) when you visit our site. If you leave a comment, we collect the name, email, and content you submit, along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
Contact form. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the topic and subject you select, and your message. We use this only to reply to you, and we keep it no longer than needed to handle your request.
Cookies and similar technologies. Our site, our caching system and our advertising and analytics partners set cookies and use similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to remember your preferences (for example, dark mode), keep the site fast, measure traffic and serve ads.
Cookies and Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this site. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site; Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Ads may also appear inside our Web Stories, which are served by Google using the same technologies.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, see a consent or opt-out message from Google that lets them choose how their data is used for advertising. You can change your choice at any time using the “Privacy and cookie settings” link or icon on the site.
For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to operate and improve our website, respond to comments and inquiries, monitor and analyze usage trends, and serve relevant advertising through Google AdSense.
Affiliate Links
Some articles contain links to retailers such as Amazon. If we join a retailer’s affiliate program, we may earn a commission when you buy through those links, at no extra cost to you. The retailer may set its own cookies to track the referral; its privacy policy applies once you leave our site. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with service providers only as needed to run the site: our web host (Hostinger), Google AdSense (advertising), Google Analytics (traffic measurement) and Google Search Console (search performance). Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
Under some US state laws, letting advertising partners use cookies to show you personalized ads may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described in “Your US State Privacy Rights” below.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a merger or transfer of the site.
Your US State Privacy Rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it;
- access and get a copy of that information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete personal information we hold about you;
- opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and of targeted advertising;
- not be treated differently for using any of these rights.
To opt out of personalized ads, use the “Do not sell or share my personal information” option in Google’s privacy message on our site, change your settings at Google My Ad Center, or turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We treat GPC signals as a valid opt-out where the law requires it.
To make any other request, use our Contact page and choose the topic that fits your request. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, and we respond within the time the law requires (usually 45 days). You can use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
California “Shine the Light”: California residents may ask once a year for information about any personal data we shared with third parties for their direct marketing. We do not share personal information for that purpose.
Data Retention and Security
We keep comment data for as long as the comment is published, and contact-form messages only as long as needed to respond. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. We use HTTPS encryption and reasonable security measures to protect information, but no website can guarantee complete security.
Children’s Privacy
Nexgen Headlines is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International Visitors
We operate from India, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you visit from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Your Choices
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings, and request deletion of any comment data you’ve submitted by contacting us.
