We work hard to be accurate, but mistakes can happen. When they do, Nexgen Headlines corrects them quickly and openly. This page is part of our Editorial Policy.
How to request a correction
Use our Contact page. Include the link to the article, the exact text you believe is wrong and, if possible, a source that shows the correct information. We review every request and aim to respond within a few business days.
How we correct mistakes
- Factual errors (a wrong number, date, name, quote or claim): we fix the text and add a note at the end of the article, for example “Correction, October 9, 2026: An earlier version of this article gave the wrong deadline. It is December 31.”
- Small fixes (spelling, grammar, broken links) that do not change the meaning: we fix them without a note.
- Updates (new information in a developing story): we add it and change the article’s “updated” date; important updates are labeled “Update”.
- Serious errors that undermine a whole story: we add an editor’s note at the top explaining what was wrong, or remove the story and explain why.
What we do not do
We do not quietly change facts without telling readers, and we do not remove or change stories because someone pays or pressures us to. Requests to remove accurate reporting are reviewed by the editor and are not granted just because the coverage is unwelcome.
Who is responsible
Corrections are handled by the editor, Sanjay Mali. See also our Fact-Checking Policy.
