Nexgen Headlines publishes news, explainers, buying guides and Web Stories for American readers. This policy explains who is behind the site, how we report and write, how we use technology, and how we fix mistakes.
Who we are
Nexgen Headlines is an independent digital publication founded and edited by Sanjay Mali, with writer and editor Saroj Mali. The team is based in India and writes for readers in the United States. Every story is published under the name of the person who wrote it. You can read more on our About page.
The site is funded by advertising and, on some pages, affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We are not owned by, or affiliated with, any political party, government or company we cover.
Accuracy and sourcing
- We base our reporting on primary sources wherever we can: official statements, court documents, company filings, government data and direct quotes.
- When we rely on another news organization’s reporting, we name it and link to it.
- We check names, numbers, dates and prices before publishing. Prices in buying guides are checked on the date shown in the article.
- We do not publish anonymous claims as fact. If something is unconfirmed, we say so.
Headlines
Headlines should tell you what the story is about. We avoid clickbait, exaggeration and headlines that promise more than the article delivers.
News, analysis and opinion
We keep news reporting, analysis and opinion separate. Opinion and recommendation pieces are written in our own voice and make clear when we are giving a view rather than reporting facts.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help with research, summaries, outlines or first drafts. AI does not publish anything on its own: a person reviews, edits and fact-checks every article before it goes live and is responsible for what we publish. We do not use AI to invent quotes, sources, experiences or images presented as real photos.
Images
We use photos from official sources, press kits and properly licensed providers, and graphics we create ourselves. Illustrations and graphics are not presented as news photographs.
Independence
- Advertisers and affiliate partners do not influence our coverage or our recommendations.
- Brands and retailers do not see or approve articles before they are published.
- We do not accept payment to publish, change or remove a story.
Corrections and updates
If we get something wrong, we fix it as soon as we confirm the error. For significant errors we add a correction note to the article explaining what changed. For developing stories and buying guides, we update the article and change its “updated” date.
To report an error or request a correction, use our Contact page, choose the matching topic, and include the page link plus the detail that needs review. We aim to respond within a few business days.
