How Milwaukee won Game 3
Jackson Chourio led off the game with a home run before many fans had found their seats. The Dodgers went ahead 2-1 in the sixth on Will Smith’s two-run double off reliever Abner Uribe. Then, in the seventh, Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell hit back-to-back home runs off Blake Snell, with Bauers’ two-run shot giving Milwaukee the lead for good.
The bullpen did the rest. D.L. Hall allowed one hit over 2 1/3 scoreless innings, and Trevor Megill got the final four outs for his second save of the series.
History says the Dodgers are in trouble
Only one team in MLB postseason history has come back from a 3-0 deficit in a best-of-seven series: the 2004 Boston Red Sox against the New York Yankees. The Dodgers, champions in each of the last two seasons, now need four straight wins.
