Nexgen Headlines is a free, independent publication run by Saroj Mali from India. We pay for the site through advertising and, on some pages, affiliate links. This page explains how affiliate links work on our site and how we keep them separate from our recommendations.
What an affiliate link is
Some of our articles, buying guides and deal posts link to retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart or streaming services. If we are part of a retailer’s affiliate program and you buy something after clicking one of those links, we may earn a small commission from the retailer.
- You pay the same price whether you use our link or not.
- We never see your payment details, and we do not receive personal information about what you buy.
- The retailer may use a cookie to record that you came from our site. Its own privacy policy applies once you leave Nexgen Headlines.
How we choose what to recommend
Commissions do not decide what we cover or what we recommend. We pick products and services based on price, features, availability for US buyers, published specifications and reputable reviews. If something is a poor deal, we say so, even when a link to it could earn money.
- Retailers and brands do not pay to be included in our guides, and they do not see or approve articles before they are published.
- Prices and deals change quickly. We list the price we found on the date shown in the article; always check the current price at the retailer before you buy.
- When we have not tested a product ourselves, we say that our recommendation is based on research rather than hands-on use. You can read more in How We Review Products.
Advertising and sponsored content
Nexgen Headlines shows ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers do not choose which ads appear next to which article, and they have no influence over our coverage.
We do not currently publish sponsored or paid content. If we ever do, it will be clearly labeled “Sponsored” at the top of the article, as required by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Where you will see disclosures
This disclosure applies to every page on Nexgen Headlines, and a link to it appears in the footer of every page. Assume that buying guides, deal posts and product reviews may contain affiliate links unless the article says otherwise.
